1. Audience behavior – in-depth insights into audience purchasing behavior

How early does pop music audiences buy their tickets before an event? Does Segment A attend more events than Segment B? And how many tickets do first-time visitors purchase?

In April, we launched a new set of analytics views called Audience behavior. These provide deeper insights into event attendance and audience purchasing patterns.

2. Signup automations – send welcome emails to new subscribers

May’s major feature release was signup automations. With signup automations, you can send welcome emails and SMS messages to new newsletter subscribers. You provide information, storytelling, and special offers – warming them up for future ticket purchases.

The automations are, of course, seamlessly connected to our signup forms, making communication with your subscribers as smooth and efficient as possible.

3. Lifestyle insights – greater relevance with new customer data

In October, we released Lifestyle insights – enriched customer data that gives you entirely new ways to understand your audience. With Lifestyle insights, you can learn more about your contacts’ life stages, purchasing power, and type of housing. This data opens up new possibilities for personalized marketing that truly hits the mark. How great is that?

In 2025, we took a major step into the Finnish market. To put MarketHype on the map, we hired our first Finnish colleague as a Business Developer. We also hosted two Finnish-language webinars focused on data-driven marketing.

7. Six new integrations – unlocking your customer and ticketing data

Integrations are the backbone of our solution. The direct connection between MarketHype and your ticketing or booking system makes it easy to understand and communicate with your audience – without exporting and importing contact lists between platforms. Order and customer data is continuously synced, including tickets, season passes, bookings, products, and customer details such as name, address, and age.

Throughout the year, several new integrations were added:

  • AXS Platform

  • Billetten

  • DataNova

  • DX

  • Lippu

  • TicketCo

8. The MarketHype Report – valuable insights and inspiration on pickup time

Do you know whether your audience are spontaneous buyers – those who choose activities based on the week’s weather and buy tickets just days before an event? Or are they planners who book up to a year in advance? And do purchasing patterns vary depending on age, event segment, and ticket price?

At MarketHype, we believe better insights lead to better decisions – and ultimately better audience experiences. So when it was time to produce a new industry report in 2025, these were exactly the questions we set out to answer. The results? You’ll find them in “The MarketHype Report: Pickup time in the event industry”.

9. NPU CID – the power of shared data for a stronger cultural sector

In 2025, we took an important step toward strengthening data-driven audience development in the Nordics. Together with Norsk Publikumsutvikling (NPU), we launched NPU CID (Customer Insights Dashboard) – a new tool that provides Norwegian cultural organizations with insights based on real ticket purchases.

The goal is simple: to make it easier to understand audiences, make better marketing decisions, and create more relevant messaging.

By collecting and visualizing data from nearly 40 Norwegian cultural organizations, we create a shared picture of audience characteristics and purchasing behavior – an important step toward a cultural sector that truly understands its audience and grows together.

In November, it was announced that we ranked as the seventh fastest-growing tech company in Sweden in 2025. With growth of 3,039 percent, we proudly earned a spot on the Sweden Technology Fast 50 list. Here’s what Erik Lindholm, CEO and founder of MarketHype, had to say:

“Placing in the top ten on Deloitte’s list is incredible recognition of the hard work our team puts in – but above all, it shows that the event industry is ready to digitalize. This growth proves that we’re solving a real problem.”

Our explosive growth was also highlighted by Eventeffect, the business and news platform for the event and meetings industry. Very exciting! You can read the article here (in Swedish): “Explosive growth for MarketHype.io – up 3,039 percent and among Sweden’s tech stars.”
